Dutch athlete Anna-Maja Kazarian was fined €100 and asked to switch from sneakers to high heels.

“One of the referees stopped me and asked if I could change my shoes because they were ‘weird shoes’ and considered ‘sneakers’. It really hurts to walk in them and I absolutely don’t want to use my Burberry sneakers for sports,” said the player, who called the fine “ridiculous”.
